Bradenton, FL is Chad's hometown and only 25 minutes from our “sticks and bricks” home. We wanted to park our new RV somewhere close to Chad's daughters and parents and were lucky to find Timberlane RV Park & Resort. Located right off of I-75 and 64, this park was convenient to many shops (we frequented Home Depot) and restaurants and only a short drive to family. It was nice to be able to start our new nomadic life in a familiar area and spend time with family and friends, before hitting the road. Luckily, the weather warmed up for us enough to go for a few rides to the beautiful beaches nearby. We will definitely be headed back that way this winter, so we can celebrate the holidays with our loved ones.
