After several months of COVID isolation, it was finally time to get out and start exploring again!

Having scrapped our plans for Cape Cod and Martha's Vineyard, we were still hopeful that our Canada plans might still pan out. So, we headed to the Northeast to an area recommended by you (our viewers): the Finger Lakes region of upstate New York!

We stayed on the western side of Cayuga Lake at Sned-Acres Family Campground in Ovid, NY. The campground was a very nice, family-run park with very spacious sites and a lot of open space. We could even see a little bit of the lake from our site! (Site 112)

This visit was actually even better than we had anticipated! The state parks and wineries did not disappoint! During this stay, we got out on the bike, hit up a few wineries, and went on some awesome hikes! Our favorite part of this trip was exploring Watkins Glen State Park!! What an amazing place! It felt like something out of a movie (think Lord of the Rings 😜)

We did so much while we were in this area, but there's still so much that we didn't see! We definitely look forward to getting back to the Finger Lakes! 🍷
