While we have many upcoming projects on our Momentum 410TH, I was recently able to knock out a few of the most annoying problems!
Flying Insect Screens
We had flying insect screens on the vents for our furnace and water heater for over five years with our last RV and wanted to have them on our 410TH. Installation on the furnace is simple, but the water heater (smaller vent openings) can be tricky. It's much easier to remove the cover and install them that way.
Be sure to check your manufacturer's manual for any restrictions on adding screens. Some might say NOT to put screens on because the screens can become clogged and restrict airflow, but we've never found this to be true.
MORryde Cargo Tray
We had MORryde cargo trays on our last RV, which are a GAME CHANGER! They are super easy to install; just ensure you measure accurately to get the proper model. Also, measure your door's bottom edge clearance and order the riser kit if you need some extra space underneath.
GasStop
We've talked about GasStop many times in the past, but now is a great time to put them on the new RV and refresh everyone's memory on why they are great peace of mind.
A propane tank's EFV (Excess flow Valve) does NOT shut off the flow of propane 100%! So, if a broken or ruptured line happens, propane continues to FLOW!!! That's where the GasStop comes into play; it will shut off the flow completely!
They are super easy to install! If you need a little extra space after installing them, be sure also to check out their braided 90-degree hose pigtails.
Hydraulic Jacks Popping
Do your Lippert hydraulic levelers POP!? Hydraulic anti-stiction additive is the answer! Find a CAT dealer, pick some up, and follow these instructions from Lippert:

Bed Slide Reading Lights
Our new bed slide reading lights do not have a wall switch like our last RV had but, rather, have a button on the light itself. Combining that with the fact that our bed slide is huge means they are extremely difficult to reach while in bed!
So, I found a wireless LED switch online and decided to try it out. Installation was super easy, and it works like a champ!
Front Cap Lights
We always leave our underbelly lights on for security and as a pest deterrent. In our last RV, this was not a problem. But, on our 410TH, the front cap lights are on the same circuit, and there was no way to control the two separately.
I found the RGB wire run for the front cap lights and installed a simple toggle switch. Now, we can leave those front cap lights off while still enjoying our underbelly lights.
