Catching Up!

We had some surprises loading the motorcycle into the new RV for the first time! But before that, we must catch you up on all the fun between the Keys and the Cabin.

After our visit to the Turtle Hospital, we met up with our friends Phil and Stacy (Today is Someday) at the No Name Pub for some Pizza. We went fishing again on Key West Charters with our friends Sean and Kathy.

From there, we traveled up to Dade City so Chad could spend a day at Disney's Hollywood Studios with his daughters Meagan and Madison. But instead of a souvenir, Chad brought back Covid! Luckily, the symptoms didn't kick in until we were back at the Cabin, where we could recover.

We got to see our friends Phil and Stacy again, as well as Scott and Christina, at the Nantahala Outdoor Center in Bryson City, NC, for an awesome Mountaintop Zipline!

Loading Lucile and Hitting the Road Again!

Per our standard procedure, we like to load the motorcycle the day before departure when possible. That was definitely the case this time, as it would be our first time loading the motorcycle into the Momentum 410TH!

While our garage is a little bit different in layout than our last RV, the biggest difference for loading the motorcycle is the floor. Grand Design did some custom work for us, putting down linoleum instead of rubber floor to make it more residential. Since we don't want to ride the motorcycle onto a finished floor, we tried using a rubber(ish) mat.

The trouble there is it was a bit more slick on the bottom than anticipated, which led to some hilarious (and a little scary) sliding of the whole setup! We still have some kinks to work out of that process, but we're starting to get it down and will share more of that in upcoming videos.

Next up, we head South of the Border to what looks to be a super cheesy '80s remnant.
