Finally leaving the heat of Nevada and arriving in Granby Colorado after three travel days in a row was very welcome indeed!
Reunited
Meeting up with friends is always fun and that was the case here, meeting up with our friends Dan and Eva who we originally met a few years prior in Colorado and have met up several times since.
Along with the usual hikes and food, we usually find some adrenaline adventures to do with these two and this time was no different!
Side-by-Side Adventure in Arapaho National Forest!
The adventure this time was renting a side-by-side Polaris Razr from On The Trail Rentals. The last time we rented a side-by-side with them, it was in Moab! This was definitely not as awesome as Moab, but we did have a blast!
River Run RV Resort
We picked this resort because our friends Dan and Eva were staying there, so we didn't really know what to expect. We were very impressed! Many RV “Resorts” consider themselves a resort if they have a pool. But, this place is a TRUE resort!
Of course, you can stay there in your RV and they have a TON of sites of all varieties. But, they also have Cabins, Airstreams, and even Covered Wagons to rent! Yes, we said covered wagons!
In addition to all of that, they have two on-site restaurants, an arcade, mini-bowling, a huge pool, bocce ball, tennis, basketball, pickleball, sand volleyball, a huge kids playground, and a putting green!
