While we love our home state of Florida, we are ready to get out and head West!

Our first stop on our trek West was to stop and see our friends Eric and Tami in Alabama! Eric and Tami are the owners of our favorite RV Gear, TechnoRV!
Our first full day there was looking like our best chance at good weather, so we jumped on the offer to go out on their boat. We had a blast exploring the Fowl River out to Mobile Bay, soaking in the sun and maybe a few beers. 🍺
Our last day there, we headed over to see the new TechnoRV office and warehouse. It was great to see the operation and meet the staff that provides such awesome customer service and support.
Chennault Aviation & Military Museum (Harvest Host)
Back on the road means more Harvest Hosts! This time, we stayed at the Chennault Aviation and Military Museum. The location was scheduled to be closed, but was hosting a veteran event when we arrived. So, we got a quick tour before setting up camp for the night.
This Harvest Host even has water and 30 Amp service available!
Hickory Creek Corps Of Engineers (Texas)
After fighting Dallas traffic, we finally arrived at our destination, Hickory Creek COE! Some good friends of ours (friends with Tara since college) has recently moved to this area for work. We searched for places to camp near them and it turned out they live less than a mile from this COE's entrance!
We were really impressed with this COE! Lot's of huge pull-through sites right on the water and, like most COE campgrounds, the sites are plenty spaced out! No sewer, but it does have 50Amp and water.
