After staying in the FL Keys for several weeks, it was time to head north! Not too far north, as it was back to moochdock at our friends' house in Dade City, FL!
We got out a few times, eating as usual, but also found the annual Dade City Dogs' Days event in Agnes Lamb Park. Daisy missed out, but we had a great time seeing all of the dogs!
St. Augustine
While we were in Dade City, we wanted to go visit our Friends, Ron and Cindy Lou in St. Augustine. We couldn't secure an RV site, so we decided to rent a park model in the same RV Park, Sun Outdoors St. Augustine.
The park model left quite a bit to be desired, including basic toiletries and a sleepable bed! Both the main bed and the sofa sleeper were pretty bad. Add that to being unable to run the AC because the unit, mounted on the outside, was loose and vibrated very loudly!
Of course, we made it to St. Augustine proper for some fun! We had lunch at the Ice Plant, and toured the Distillery and the Oldest House! There might have been some samples involved at the distillery! 😀
