How to Join!
We’ve kept it simple this time around and run our membership directly through YouTube, and use Discord for the social side of it (where we all hang out).
So, the first step is to join our YouTube Channel Membership HERE.
How to Join the Inside Lane Discord (where we chat)
Once you are a member (on YouTube), use THIS LINK to get to Our Discord Server. If it’s your first time on Discord, you will be prompted to create an account.
Once you’re on the Inside Lane, if you don’t see several “channels” (rv topics) down the left side (you won’t the first time), you must link your YouTube account to your Discord account so Discord can sync your membership.
You can accomplish this in your account settings by clicking on the gear icon next to your name at the bottom left of the screen.
Once in the User Settings area, scroll down the left side and select “Connections.” Select YouTube from the list of available connections, then follow the prompts to log on to YouTube. Be sure to link the same account that is a Channel Member on YouTube. Once this is complete, you will have access and !
While you’re editing your profile, be sure to make your Nickname your real name. You can do that globally (across all of Discord) in your User Profile or JUST for the Inside Lane under Server Profile.
NOTE: Couples can have individual accounts on Discord linked to the same YouTube account. This allows you to interact as individuals without having separate memberships on YouTube.
